My so called music

I’ve got my first release on the kboysoundlabs netlabel – “My so called music”.. It’s a bunch of minimal and maybe maximal techno and breaks. I take on influence by the ephemeral sounds that usually go unnoticed or are thought of as “by products”. I like elements of glitch, but not as the primary mode of the audio transport. I prefer solid beats layered up with interesting sounds.
I’m 31 and I live in california. I’m wondering if there’s any real regionalism in music anymore, whereas I suspect you nice folks in Europe might get this better than my own peoples in the US. It seems like the only regions where my preferred types of music exist are on the net… ? US listeners who get it? leave a comment! I’ve been looking for you!
here’s a track listing, linked for your podcasting delight:
Leaky steamotron
gecko
lidflipper
Rubber floor (by transistor reflex)
rethinking it
refunk 2-4
running mix 2-1
here’s the archive.org page for derivatives … updated… I am now a netlabel at archive.org.
