Here’s a 75 minute improvised jam session recording of 3 of Dobox’s artists: QORSER, The Rhythmist, and Steve Cooley, during the last hour and a half of “Silicon Valley Techno Jam Session #1″… all three artists came into the set without a preconceived preparation, so this is the rawest of the raw elements of what these three are made of. The tempo is a steady 142 bpm, so get ready for some bangin’ tech!!

We had a way bigger response than we expected, and it was pretty awesome, so thanks to everyone who came out to jam at Works! We had 9 people participating at the peak, and 6 people who walked in off first street to check it out and see the exhibit in the gallery. Thanks again!

We’re going to be in the Carriage House Theatre.

MIDI (wired and wireless) and OSC (wired and wireless) will be distributed in various experimental ways. We’ll have a number of people doing video as well as audio. Much fun will be had. Come join us. Observers are as welcome as participants. Bring cables if you bring equipment.

SHARE San Jose, 2nd meeting, Wednesday @ 7:30pm, Orchard Valley Coffee, Campbell

Tomorrow (Wednesday) night we’re going to have the second meeting of SHARE San Jose (see http://share-sj.org for more info). Unlike the first meeting (which was a jam/talk session) this one will be talk/show, at a coffee shop in Campbell. It will be fairly informal – there will be opportunity for people to introduce themselves, talk about how our next jam session will be organized (which will be at Anno Domini), and talk/show whatever people bring to talk/show about. Details:
